This collaboration marks the Health Council’s strategic shift towards supporting sustainable and effective solutions that support the management of chronic conditions and address the needs of an ageing population.

Ignite Bermuda will play a pivotal role in providing entrepreneurs with the essential support to develop solutions that benefit Bermuda and extend their impact globally through their 5-month Accelerator Programme.

This collaboration will offer a unique platform for business solutions that are dedicated to drive positive change in healthcare and aims to attract innovators with a passion for improving lives, particularly in the following key areas:

1. Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases: Solutions targeting the prevention, management, and treatment of non-communicable chronic diseases.
2. Chronic Mental Health Conditions: Approaches to support individuals in managing and overcoming chronic mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic and effective support system.
3. Ageing in Place: Solutions that empower and enhance the quality of life for the ageing population, enabling them to age in place with dignity and independence.
